New to lash extensions? Here are some tips & tricks for how to care for your new lashes!

Avoid water for the first 48 hours.

Once a new set of extensions are added, avoid water as much as you can! Wash and dry your lashes before a new set, you won’t be able to get them wet for the next 48 hours. This is to ensure that no lashes fall off prematurely.

Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions

Skip Oil-Based Products

Oil breaks down the glue that holds up the lashes, so we encourage clients to avoid oil cleansers and makeup removers.

Give Them A Good Brush

To keep your fluttery new lashes, make sure you are brushing them out occasionally. Packs of clean spoolies can be found at drugstores and beauty supply shops.

Switch to a Silk or Satin Pillowcase

Silk Pillowcases are already known to help reduce frizzy hair and face wrinkles, but they can also help your extensions too! Cotton pillowcases can cause drying and snagging, which can lead to loss of lashes.

Get Long, Full Eye Lashes

Don’t Pick or Pull Out Lashes

We encourage you to resist the urge to play with your lashes. Messing with the lash extensions can not only pull out your false lashes, but can also damage your natural lashes.
